On 13 of May, Mr. Tran Xuan Hoa, the vice-chairman of Ninh Thuan people committee, signed the decision to announce the ending of H5N1 of swiftlet at house number 592, Thong Nhat street, Phan Rang Thap Cham.

In addition, the people committee directed the Agriculture department and the Veterinary department together with related departments continues to apply prevention methods, monitor closely the area and other swiftlet farms to ensure the H5N1 does not recur on the swiflet in the area.

In March and April, there was 5000 swiftlet died at this address. Test results shown the death swiftlet positive with H5N1. However, test results of alive swiftlet, nest, and excrement were negative of H5N1. Yen Viet JSC is the bird house owner with more than 100,000 swiftlets.

On the 19 of April, after getting the approval from No. 6 Veterinary office, Ninh Thuan people committee decided to announce the epidemic and destroy part of the swiftlet herd. Since that day, the swiftlet
ranch has been monitoring and test results on birds have shown negative of H5N1
